1. Highlighting the importance of electricity safety and its role to cutting down risks of fire and electric shock in the electric utilities and commercial, educational, industrial and health facilities, to protect peoples and premises and reduce human and economic losses.
  2. Introducing the decision made in Saudi Arabia to change the voltage in the Kingdom to 230/400 volts, and its importance and its impact on increasing the level of safety, raise the efficiency of the distribution network.
  3. Introducing electrical requirements in the Saudi Building Code, and the importance of those requirements in achieving safety, and prsent the proposed mechanisms for monitoring its application in enterprises.
  4. Identifying systems, means and latest technologies that can be used in the kingdom to provide protection for electrical equipment and electrical installations in facilities, and protect their users from risks may arise from them.
  5. Identifying experiences of developed countries in issuing of legislations and regulations that achieve safety in electrical utilities and other facilities, also the means and mechanisms used in developed countries for implementation of those legislations, enforcement, and surveillance of implementation.
  6. Increase awareness and raise the level of interest in electrical safety in general, and focus in particular on the special requirements related to the execution of electrical works and electricity use in public facilities.
  7. Introducing international and regional programs and mechanisms of conformity assessment, inspection and testing to achieve the best protection from electrical hazards in industrial, commercial and public facilities.
  8. Introducing the means used globally  on providing a safe working environment in large, medium and small facilities to achieve employees safety and health from electrical hazards in those facilities, and to protect the surrounding environment.
  9. Highlighting the importance of awareness of electric safety requirements and its achievement means in the level of high and middle management, and for employees working in facilities to reduce electrical accidents and reducing its impact.
  10. Introducing the importance of training and qualifications to raise the level of safety and health in industrial, health, educational and commercial facilities, and the means of taking advantage of available training programs in this field.
